Originally released in 2011 as a Japan-only special edition, the S.A.F.S. TYPE 2C “Super Ball”—fondly known as the “Moon Snowman”—has become a cult icon in the Maschinen Krieger universe. Now, it’s back for wide release through WAVE with refreshed 2025 box art and redesigned decals.

Based on the Snake Eye platform, this updated release includes the “Raptor” excimer laser gun, SAFS-style hatch, and an optional nose part to complete the Moon Snowman configuration.

Compact, expressive, and unmistakably lunar, this suit is ideal for experienced Ma.K. builders, collectors completing their lunar lineup, or those who already own The Ma.K. Lincoln Report Vol. 2 – Lunar Combat.

🧠 Studio Note

The Super Ball first appeared in Volume 2 – Lunar Combat as part of the Paint on Plastic gallery exploring lunar suits and tonal worldbuilding. Though it wasn’t a full build feature, this design helped define the visual DNA of that volume and remains one of the most recognizable silhouettes from the Moon-era lineup.
