The DORA is one of the oldest designs in the Ma.K. universe — an experimental form developed over 40 years ago, built around a deliberately narrow shoulder profile that sets it apart from every PKA that followed.
Designed to operate in pairs with Neuspotters — SDR machine intelligence reconnaissance drones — the DORA excels at data relay in hostile environments. Flexible arms. Armoured windows on both sides. A body architecture distinct from the standard Gustav series, with shoulder positioning unlike anything else in the PKA line.
For decades it existed only as a Franken build — a hybrid construction from Modelkasten resin and NITTO plastic, available to a handful of modelers in the 1980s and 1990s who knew what they were looking for. This WAVE release is the first time the DORA has been available in full injection-moulded plastic.
The design predates the GUSTAV. It predates the KETZER. It is the ancestral form of the PKA line — and until now, it has never been this accessible.
