The LUNA HUND represents the culmination of the Hund program, designed for autonomous lunar combat. Built on the versatility of the VEGA and refined through the sensor tech of the SCHWARZER HUND, the LUNA platform became the Strahl’s most adaptable lunar interceptor. With its AI-driven systems and upgraded neurocranial sensors, the LUNA HUND earned its designation as the “Moon Hunting Dog” — capable of outmaneuvering mercenary forces like the Luna Pawn and S.A.F.S. Fireball in the harshest conditions.

In the field, LUNA HUNDs served as vanguard units for the 22nd Parachute Division, coordinating with aerial SCHWARZER HUND escorts. Many carried personal talismans, including the iconic “frog green” overpaint — a symbol of good fortune among Strahl troops.
