Overview
The Nutcracker is an oddball. That's precisely why it's interesting.
The P.K.H.103 is a heavy assault platform from the Ma.K. universe — large, mechanically complex, and visually unlike anything else in the 1/35 range. At 308mm built, it dominates a diorama. 217 parts give you the kind of surface complexity that rewards careful painting and weathering. The Waldgeist — German for Forest Ghost — markings suggest a woodland operations scheme: mottled greens, shadow tones, and the kind of finish that suits a builder who knows what to do with it.
The Nutcracker gets dismissed as a curiosity. That's the wrong read.
In the Ma.K. universe, the P.K.H.103 is the workhorse of the STRAHL — the backbone of their autonomous army, fielded in numbers while the specialist units operate around it. That design logic shows in the kit. No single dramatic feature. Just a machine built to be everywhere, all the time, in any condition.
The Waldgeist markings lean into that — forest operations, shadow tones, a unit that moves without being seen. The weathering brief practically writes itself. 217 parts and 308mm built give you the surface complexity to do it properly.
This is a kit for a builder who wants a centrepiece, not a shelf filler.

Studio Note
"The Nutcracker gets dismissed. Too big, too different, too much of a departure from the FALKE or PKA line. That's the wrong read. The P.K.H.103 is a heavy assault platform with a real sense of mechanical weight — and the Waldgeist markings practically write the weathering brief for you. Forest operations, shadow tones, wear that reads as earned. This is a kit for a builder who wants a centrepiece, not a shelf filler." — Lincoln Wright
