Overview

This is the book that launched Paint on Plastic — now rebuilt to modern studio standards.

Originally released in 2022 to mark 40 years of SF3D → Ma.K., Vol. 1 established the format, the methodology, and the studio's position in the English-language Ma.K. world. The Second Edition Redux is not a reprint. The photography has been updated, the layout rebuilt, and two entirely new MK44 builds — HAMMERKNIGHT and GHOSTKNIGHT — added exclusively to this edition, while maintaining the 128-page footprint of the original.

Built using hybrid Japanese–Western methods developed across more than 15 years of professional studio work in Japan and Australia. This is where the MK44 series begins.
