“The apex of the Strahl’s unmanned weapons.”

During the Earth Independence Conflict, the Strahl Army turned to unmanned systems to conserve manpower. The result was the Großer Hund — a fully autonomous humanoid interceptor designed to rival the Mercenary Forces’ new combat suits. Standing three meters tall, with advanced AI and bipedal walking controls, the Großer Hund proved capable of operating in any environment, bringing speed and firepower that even surpassed the manned P.K.A. series.

Equipped with a tough alloy frame, a PWM.49/z laser, and dual Neupanzerschrecks, the Großer Hund was devastating on the battlefield. But it was also unpredictable — damaged AI units could turn as dangerous to the Strahl as to their enemies, cementing its reputation as both an asset and a terror.

Early deployments by Panzerkampf.Abt.32 2nd Kompanie saw the Großer Hund defending Neu Canberra and later New Orleans, extending the reach of Strahl mechanized teams and disrupting mercenary supply routes. Many early units were later upgraded with improved head armor for expanded AI cores, adapting to the evolving needs of the conflict. The final fate of these first Großer Hunds remains shrouded in uncertainty — their battlefield legend endures.
