Overview

The GRIFFON EGG is the machine that came before the GRIFFON.

暫定試作型 = provisional prototype. The developmental configuration that preceded the Pkf.85bis designation. The experimental testbed to workout the kinks in the design and field test the platform.

Hasegawa has kitted it for the first time. Limited production. No confirmed reissue.

This is also the subject of WBE-007 — a new build, a new paint scheme, full studio treatment. A completely different chapter from the GRIFFON documented in WBE-002.

WBE-007 — GRIFFON EGG Workbench Edition

The WBE is the bench reference. It goes next to the kit while you build.

A new build on the provisional prototype — distinct paint scheme and finish treatment from the GRIFFON documented in WBE-002. Different configuration, different story. 

Full studio documentation — technique, colour methodology, and the reasoning behind each decision. Produced at studio grade.

Print Edition: Wire-bound, A4, lay-flat format — stays open on the workbench while you paint. Clear protective covers. Premium satin stock. Page count confirmed on completion. Print Edition is a single production run. No reprint planned.

Digital Edition: Full WBE-007 in PDF. Delivered on completion.
