1/35 ARTPLA Gladiator & Smiling Eddie Amsel – Maschinen Krieger Kit

Early war. Heavy legs. Big smile.

This 1/35-scale release from ARTPLA brings to life the early heavy quadrupedal war machines of the Maschinen Krieger universe. Inside the box, you’ll find parts to build two distinct versions of the early Gladiator—G1 and G2—plus a newly sculpted Smiling Eddie Amsel pilot figure to bring personality to the battlefield.

🚧 This is a pre-order item. Stock is expected to arrive from Kaiyodo in September 2025. Orders will ship as soon as inventory lands at Paint on Plastic Studio HQ.

A sharp design with a warm twist, this release balances chunky mechanical armor with a human touch.

From Linc’s Desk

“The Gladiator has always had a commanding presence—but adding Eddie Amsel’s cheerful face to the mix gives this one a lot more shelf appeal than expected. It’s rare to get two full machine variants and a figure at this price point.”
